Softwares I use: 3D Studio Max, Photoshop CS, Illustrator, Terragen, Deep paint 3D.
Map Editors: GTKradiat, UnrealED 3.0, ISI tools (Rfactor).
I’m really interested in the videogames and “moddings” world ‘cause in this field the creativity finds its better expression with 3D modelling.
I started to create some maps (in 1999) for one of the best Quake III mod, called UrbanTerror. The Map editor I used in that case was the GTKRadiant.
Some years later, I joined a Team to develop an UnrealTournament 2004 total modification, called RoadKillWarriors. Currently I’m still involved as a “Mapper” and modeller 3D in this project. The TeamLeader (Juan Gauthier , from Sweden) is trying to find an investor to create the RoadKillWarrios game.
The map editor I used in RoadKill is UnrealED 3.0 and I created all the objects inside the map with 3D Studio Max. You can find these maps here.
At the moment I’m “in love” with the Drive Simulation Games and Rfactor represents one of the best “SIM”! Gabriele and I decided to build the MBteam and create our first “Italian” Track (Varano de’ Melegari) for the RF community… In the future we are planning to create some others “high quality” tracks!
